Summary: Kamenashi Kazuya was a successful student on his way to graduating from high school when his life took a drastic turn; he was found guilty of a murder he did not commit. With the indisputable evidence presented against him, he was sentenced to prison. Time goes on however, and once the boy was released, fate would have his eyes fall upon a familiar face. Discovering that the man he supposedly killed was still well and alive, Kazuya sets out with the objective to befriend the man. He would learn everything he could about the other, and use it against him to commit the crime he had been accused of, a flawless murder. However, once he begins to pursue this goal, how badly would it backfire once he learned the other side of the story?
A/N: First off, this fic has absolutely nothing to do with the movie by the same name. I didn’t even know there was a movie by this name until I saw my parents watching it the other day… how coincidental. It just HAPPENS that the plot in this fic shares one major thing with the plot in the movie. I haven’t even watched the movie, so hopefully they don’t end up alike.
